A Thrifty Diva Surviving Mommy Hood
This fall is all about channeling your inner punk girl with a modern twist. Think sweetheart with a little bit of bad girl edge. To bring those trends from the runway to my own closet, I am incorporating pieces that are edgy and mom of three appropriate. Last week I made a date with Sears online to bring affordable fashion trends home. And they have arrived!
Here are three of my favorite affordable fashion looks from SearsStyle.
Metaphor Tank Top with Faux Leather Trim
Black leggings – similar Kardashian Kollection Leggings
Leopard Print heels – similar Pin Up Women’s Safari
Dark rich greens are ruling the runway. Trends that are back for another season; leggings and animal print, don’t get rid of them just yet. The animal print heels really make a solid look pop and add a little bit of edge to your style. And matchy looks are totally over-rated! Don’t be afraid to pair different fabrics and prints together. The detail faux leather trim on the back of this tank top is my absolute favorite. It’s chic and takes the idea of wearing a solid top up a notch.
Bongo Rhinestone Crosses T Shirt faux leather trim
Gold Stud Bracelet similar Cra Bracelet
Stud Handbag similar similar Bali Bags Studio Purse
I’m a jeans and ballet flats kinda girl. To keep my everyday look fresh and edgy I found these rockin’ studded ballet flats for $7 at Sears online. I am in love with them and they go with just about all of my jeans. The green cross top also has the faux leather trim that is a total must for this fall.
Almost Famous Sparkle skull and flower tank
Army Green Pants similar Bongo Cargo pants
Black wristlet similar Studio S wristlet
It’s a green green world guys and one of the great trends is mixing utility styles, camo and a little feminine flair. This top pulls it all together and is super fun. I purchased 4 pieces to add into my current wardrobe. Three tops and a pair of flats. My total purchase came out to $48. including free shipping. I am using my Shop Your Way rewards. If you have yet to join the free program I highly suggest you join and start earning 10 points or more on every $1 spent on qualified purchases. You can redeem your Points on eligible items.
Sears is featured in this digital magazine, check it out and get great ideas for back to school.
